Back to blog! ^_^
When i came home from work yesterday, i screamed when i went into my room. But thats because i saw the holy CDJ box on my table. My Ayabie concert DVD is finally here! *beams*
Didnt have the time to watch it last night, but i ripped out the audio already XD
Anyway, i watched it just now & its even better than their Virgin Snow Color tour! ^_^
Everyone looks awesome as usual & i seriously find Ayabie the cutest out of all the bands i like ^_^ Aoi sang better in Kimi no Koe to Yakusoku this time too! and B.L.C is LOVE! Back in the olden days, Ryouhei would never come up with a song that requires any screaming. But after he left Ayabie, they came up with something like B.L.C XD B.L.C = 5min+ of random screaming without any singing XD well maybe the screaming parts arent meant to be random, but it sounds pretty random IMO XD still i enjoyed that perf alot *o* Aoi rarely screams & he sounds good when he does. He looks so cute & cheery even when screaming too! *dies* well Ayabie's screaming parts arent like those of Girugamesh or other really heavy bands because Ayabie's music arent like that. Its more toned down, but nevertheless still considered screaming XD and Takehito screams awesomely. thats why he did all the screams in VSC tour. this time, he didnt just share his screaming parts with others. he shared his guitar solos with Yumehito too! thats good, because Yumehito totally had NO guitar solos during VSC tour from what i can remember. oh and this time, Intetsu + Yumehito joined in the screaming too (as seen in B.L.C)! *o* they both scream really well too! i wasnt too surprised Intetsu can scream well since he headbangs like no other in Ayabie (the ONLY headbanger in fact). but the sight of Yumehito screaming into his mic killed me. then at one point Aoi took Yumehito to a side of the stage and held his mic infront of Yumehito in an attempt to let Yumehito scream into his mic. but apparently that failed because Yumehito totally burst out laughing just as he was about to scream into Aoi's mic. Yumehito is soooooo freaking cute! he was laughing, then he covered his face with his hands & attempted to back away. but after his escape attempt failed, he tried once again to scream into Aoi's mic. you can see him preparing to do it already, when he burst out laughing again XD and Takehito was caught at the other side of the stage, laughing away while watching XD Aoi next tried this same thing on Takehito & they succeeded finally. Takehito is just pro m(_ _)m and the part Kenzo beamed at the camera killed me too *o* hes really one handsome man. well how can i possibly NOT love B.L.C after seeing how much fun they had during the perf?
Enough said, I LOVE AYABIE.
in case people dont already know about this, i'm currently supporting my 3 top fav bands (used to be 2) only. its only when i have spare cash then i'll order those kickass albums by other bands. my 3 top fav bands are Kagrra,, GazettE & Ayabie, with Ayabie being the newest addition. with Kagrra, & GazettE, they have more stuff than i can count so i'm only grabbing stuff they released after they went major. i already have everything GazettE released after they went major (except the singles) but i cant say the same for Kagrra, since they went major really long ago O_O" i do have all the albums they released after they went major but i wont grab all the DVDs because theres too many & i obviously wont have the money. for Ayabie, they're still indie but i've made up my mind to grab the stuff they released after Ryouhei left. its not a hard decision because i'm not that big a fan of Ryouhei's works.
with that settled, i've ordered the following:
Ayabie - Virgin Snow Color album
Ayabie - Virgin Snow Color tour DVD
Ayabie - ecumenical mini-album
after i get this 3 items, i've reached my goal for Ayabie XD
Oh and allow me to list some inspiring Jrockers.
most inspiring band: exist+trace
this has nothing to do with fav or not. they inspire me more than any other band because they're the only all female jrock band i agree with. i've always thought the jrock industry to be a place where men rule & i still do, but all except for exist+trace. even for people like Kana & Danger Gang who have many fans, i find their music quite lousy. Danger Gang is so-so but Kana is CRAP cause that woman CANT sing at all. Dont tell me her vocals are fine once i get used to it cause i NEVER will. but yes exist+trace proves that an all female band can produce awesome heavy music too. and what else can go wrong for them when they've got Jyou as vocalist & a bunch of bandmates who look soooo crazily cool i melt over them despite knowing they're female. and even Bangyas find them cool!
most inspiring vocalist: Jyou (exist+trace)
Shes inspires me more than any other vocalist because shes female. and unlike Kuroneko (also female, from Onmyouza), she can scream like any other male vocalist from the heavy bands. Shes living proof that female vocalists can survive in the jrock industry too, even though i used to think lowly of female vocalists in jrock bands before i discovered exist+trace. and actually i still do, unless they can be as crazily powerful as Jyou or Kuroneko. Jyou may not have much range or even sound that female at all but i wanna learn from her. Shes just wonderful IMO.
most inspiring guitarist: Uruha (the GazettE)
Hes really awesome. the way he played during Decomposition Beauty tour kills. i've watched alot of jrock concerts but i've seriously yet to see any other guitarist play like that. i dont really think hes the only one capable of that in the jrock industry but still, he inspires me like mad. How can i ever learn to forgive bitches for liking GazettE just for their looks alone? thats one of the biggest insult to the music such a kickass band has to offer.
most inspiring bassist: Intetsu (Ayabie)
I love bassists because i love the sound of bass. but Intetsu's the one who truly gave me the desire to learn bass. hes not my fav member in Ayabie but i love seeing him in their tours. Hes like magic when he plays live.
most inspiring drummer: Izumi (Kagrra,)
As much as Kai inspires me too, nobody plays drum like Izumi. the way he plays is truly fantastic. most drummers are headbanging with their hair flying around when drumming but Izumi is nothing like that. he'll close his eyes and he'll not move his head at all. he'll drum with his eyes closed even when he has to drum real fast. and i love seeing how composed he is when hes drumming.
