Finally had the time to watch the PSC tour ^_^
i love the name of the tour -- Peace & Smile Carnival ~Egao de FUCK YOU~ XD
I enjoyed this concert like mad. But thats obviously because i'm a huge supporter of PSC :P
I'm not kidding when i say i like every single band signed to PSC (well maybe except for miyavi). and my love for PSC even extends to indie PSC! XD its not exactly new that i like SCREW & they've joined indie PSC XD the only other group in indie PSC is SuG. i'm not too familiar with them since i've only heard one song, but i think they have the potential ^_^ and actually, PSC is a pretty small company. Besides indie PSC, they only have Kagrra,, the GazettE, alice nine, Kra & miyavi XD and though i'm not really a miyavi fan, i think he has talent. only, i dont think he should sing at all O_O"
Kagrra, - Satsuki + Chikai no Tsuki + Urei
the opening clip introducing Kagrra, members is really pretty & very much Kagrra, style XD they're indeed the best band to do the opening for the concert, since they're considered the most mellow & thus they're sort of like a warm up XD i love the crowd's response when Isshi let them sing Urei. i think Kagrra, got a pretty loud response already, as compared to other band's attempts. but of course it cant be compared with their one-man cons since the audience this time is mixed with fans of other bands. Kagrra, will never disappoint when performing live and this is no exception. and one of Akiya's guitar solo parts totally made me scream *o*
alice nine - Shunkashuutou + Gokusai Gokushiki Gokudoka [G3] + Heisei Juushichinen Shichigatsu Nanoka
can i say Shou sounds the best here among all the lives i've heard of them so far? i love how they move in unison at the start of G3. its really cute & fun to watch. oh and Shou is such a darling. its so sweet when he put his head with Hiroto's & when he played with Saga's hair *dies* speaking of Saga, i nearly screamed my lungs out when he did the -o- face to the crowd *o* its just tooo cute. and i knew it. Saga is dangerous. he was doing the background screaming with Hiroto's mic (since he happened to be there during that time) in one of the songs (forgot which one), when he tried to eat the mic O_O" well obviously the mic's too big for his mouth but he did eat a small part of it. and say, isnt Uruha the one whos gonna be using that mic next? XD
the GazettE - THE $OCIAL RIOT MACHINE$ + Carry? + LINDA ~candydive pinky heaven~
Perfect choice of songs! By now, you can easily tell why PSC arranged the bands to perform in this order. GazettE is easily the heaviest band in PSC so of course its best to put them right in the middle of the con. so basically, the atmosphere just keeps getting higher right from the start of this con. the screams GazettE received from the crowd when they came out was pretty deafening. and they seriously deserved the support for the kickass perf they gave. i love how strong Ruki's screams are (some of the strongest i've heard so far) & this is the exact con that made me love Carry?. i screamed & died when i heard Ruki sing "i love you forever" *DIES* and he sang it so clearly in english too! *dies* oh and i have to mention how the banner at the back changes according to the bands performing. Kagrra, didnt have a banner (well its not like they needed one), alice nine had a puny one but GazettE's banner is HUGE. and its one of my fav GazettE banners too! its their Disorder banner & even till now, i still see it being put up everytime they perform T$RM *o* and does Ruki actually enjoy playing with water? he drank from his bottle of water twice during their perf & both times he blew a mouthful of water out. The 1st time he blew water up (like a fountain XD) & the 2nd time he simply blew it at the crowd XD after the 2nd one he casually tossed his bottle at the side & this poor backstage guy totally had to go pick it up XD
Keiyuu + miyavi - Itoshii Hito + Yuki Gekka (not sure if i romanized it correctly because its a miyavi song & i wont know)
this part came in pretty timely since its sort of allows fans to rest after all the headbanging & tension. alright i'll say miyavi's acoustic songs are pretty nice, provided he isnt singing it. i swear i dont hate miyavi but i cant stop bitching about his singing. i cant help thinking he sounds bad even when hes just singing the backup for Keiyuu -_-" Keiyuu's the power. he sings soooo well & with so much emotion! now that i think about it, theres no other vocalist in PSC for this acoustic segment. Cant imagine Isshi doing it since his pitch is way too high & the thought of Shou singing to acoustic music scares me O_O" Ruki isnt really suitable for acoustic either. oh and i have to mention miyavi's guitar skills are really good. hes so good, i'm now glad he joined SKIN as guitarist. and he should just concentrate on his work in SKIN, since he really isnt half as good in singing.
Kra - CIRCUS + Renjou PHILOSOPHY + BURIKI no Hata
when the last you saw of Keiyuu was him singing to acoustic music like an angel, his perf in Kra will make your jaw drop. i do know Kra's style of music (since i have their discography) but the change is pretty drastic, especially the way he screams in Renjou PHILOSOPHY *o* and i cant help noticing how tiny Keiyuu is! hes sooooo cute *o* like at one point he went to stand beside Yuura & hes only at Yuura's shoulder? and no, Yuura isnt tall like Tora. for someone so tiny, hes got awesome lung power XD but he has the weird habit of putting his mic really really far away, deliberately. sorry to say this, but the sight of Yasuno pisses me off. i hate his pink head + pink drum equipment. its gay. i know hes a decent drummer but you know some people just have that kind of face that cant go well with other people? yea thats pretty much how i feel about Yasuno. but i can imagine myself liking him alot more if he chucks all the pinkyness -_-" pink isnt my color but i dont have a problem with pink hair actually (Jun & hide are LOVE). at the end of the day, i guess its just Yasuno's face looking irritating as hell when accompanied with his pink hair -_-"
end of comment, and i guiltily confess that i'm not at all interested to watch miyavi's perf *hides*
no point watching if i cant stand his vocals, find his songs average & basically have no interest to watch. and from what i see as i skimmed through abit of it, his band is pretty irritating as well. but hes got a freaking huge banner for sure. its as big as GazettE's but WITHOUT any design -_-" now i'm failing to see why you need such a huge banner just to have the single kanji for your name plastered over it -_-" and thats irritating too.
i remember reading on unknown guy's blog long ago, where he was trying to decide if he should get the tickets to this con. his reason was because he absolutely hated Kra & he didnt wanna see them at all. i dont really agree with him on Kra being lousy but his friend's comment made me laugh. apparently his friend felt he should still go, and getting to see Kra isnt that bad since he may get the chance to throw a shoe at the drummer's face. see, i'm not the only one who finds Yasuno irritating. and yes, i used to hate Kra ALOT. thats all until LOST NUMBER changed my mind.
