Ok i seriously need to fangirl.
all that homework is getting to me. and theres actually more waiting to be done, just that i need a break from all that shit.
i'll give my work credit for making my weekends so tedious, i actually prefer school days -_-" still, i'm determined NOT to be lazy anymore & work as hard as my bitchy manager wants me to. i'll can do with more spare cash anyway :P
if any of you people are sick of hearing about Ruki, fret not because i'm not gonna fangirl about him today (for once) XD but then again, i guess you can always choose NOT to read if you cant stand my fangirling.
shall introduce the few indie bands i've been really crazy over recently (does NOT mean i've stopped being crazy over my beloved bands). and because i'm in the mood, i'll include pics of each band too ^_^ all pics will be in the next post though :P
and yes i confess i cant really recognise everyone from these bands. like i cant even remember all their names yet (mainly because i already have way too many jrocker names swimming in my head -_-"). but its the music that matters & its the music that makes them what they are. i believe in music bringing & keep the band members together so of course i wont really care if they cant look like they come from the same star. this is different for Jpop bands because i would expect fans of boybands to recognise every member of the band. afterall, you gotta give them credit for choosing a bunch of pretty boys who'll look good in any group photo to be in the same band :P this is especially true for JE fans since JE is basically known for their pretty boys. and in the world of Jrock, many bands will still look similar once you've seen enough bands. of course you can tell they arent all the same band when you look closely, but that still makes it hard for me to remember how all the bands i like look like (and yes i do know i love a ridiculous amount of bands). and its not like i'll always try out a band judging from their visual image because many indie bands hardly have any pics -_-" i'll try out bands if i like their band name or song titles too! and in such cases, obviously i wont know how they look like at all. its only with my recent discovery of visunavi that i got to know how many of them looked like. but like i said, its the music that matters most. its enough for me just to know all the members of my top fav bands, and i think it'll take at least 1 more brain to know ALL members of the bands i like (which is the list at the side) -_-"
Siva - i discovered them the same time i discovered Nega quite long ago & i found them better than Nega. i still think this way, even though i now love Nega too. my fav member is Kairi (vocalist)! i love his voice totally. i love how smooth & low he sounds when he sings the "kogoe..." part in Youen. and Youen is my fav song from Siva. the guitars in this song kicks serious ass! if not for them, this song will probably sound pretty droning :P rest assured i can recognise Siva when i see their pic, without having to read the band name. they're too cool to be true. oh yes & CELL (bass)'s mask is love XD
Nega - i used to mix them up with Siva, just because i discovered both bands together. they dont sound anything alike though :P my fav member is Jin (vocalist). i love how super emo he sounds in Rain Falls. obviously, thats my fav song from Nega XD the lyrics & tune just kills me. its sooooo sad! T_T and i do recognise Nega too, because their image is soooo much love ^_^ off-topic, but be warned that my fav members are nearly always vocalists or bassists XD
juliadoll - i love their sound! and HAL (vocalist) kills. for some reason, he caught my eye from the very 1st time i saw a juliadoll band pic. and till now, he still attracts me a whole lot. in fact, hes nearly the only one i can recognise. well maybe except for NAO (guitarist) because he looks tooo pretty to be male XD in fact, i'll say he looks like a princess you'll expect to find in an english castle XD my fav song is Over. the guitar riffs & the vocals kill. how can i not like them when this is also my 1st song of them? XD with that kinda image + HAL + NAO, obviously i'll recognise them! XD
NANA - now that i'm looking at their profile on visunavi, they actually have a really unique band line-up! *o* like Rei is both the vocalist & guitarist! *o* cool~! well they do have another guitarist too, so its nothing to worry about :P and god they have a manipulator? thats quite unheard of & i dont really get whats his role. anyway, NANA actually has stuff ranging from average sounding to above average. well all except for one song. Sou totally killed me. thats the song that made me like NANA & thats also the song thats been playing both in my head + on my comp for the past few hours. i still cant get enough of it O_O" but Rei's definitely a great vocalist. i know i wont be able to recognise them though, because they look pretty average too X_X
Saruin - i cant believe i dont have their songs at all in my mp3 player T_T *plays Asylum Garden* this is one band i've been staring at for quite long, before i had the chance to listen to them. i love their image & Maria (vocalist) catches my eye sooo much, i've hardly looked at the other members :P like Nega & Siva, they have pretty heavy stuff. and yes, they sound awesome too! my fav member is Maria! hes just lovely in many ways *o* and actually, Ranmaru catches my eye alot too! i like his purple hair *o* and OMG Saruin members are all tall! the shortest one is around 170cm & its still ok. but their tallest one is 188cm? *o* thats FREAKING tall judging by every asian standard. and lovely Maria is an amazing 180cm! *dies* my fav song is ABYSS & i'm so gonna squeeze it into my mp3 player NOW XD the screaming parts in the chorus sounds really fun ^_^
Sadie - i discovered them long ago, but only got the chance to listen to more of their stuff recently. they're another heavy band & i'm loving them for it ^_^ my fav song by them is Meisai. i cant really say why, but its the song that leaves the most impression on me ^_^ i think i'll recognise them, because i do recognise Mao (vocalist) & Mizuki (guitarist). Mao's really cool, especially when he covers half of his face (not that hes ugly of course). strangely, it appeals to me when jrockers cover part of their faces XD and Mizuki is the prettiness *o*
D'espairsRay - i discovered them long ago too, but i only got killed by Screen recently. maybe i didnt really listen to them much in the past -_-" but Screen is really dark & emo T_T i love that song! and for once, my fav member is a vocalist (or bassist). my fav member is TSUKASA (drummer) ^_^ hes soooo lovely! pics of him from their live report in Shoxx killed me totally *o* and yes, Hizumi (vocalist) is a really kickass vocalist. D'espairsRay totally deserved going major because all their songs are soooo good! i'll be retarded when i fail to recognise them XD
Dio - Distraught Overlord - i actually discovered them since their debut single. and i'm totally loving them now that they've released their 2nd single already ^_^ i cant say which song is my fav because i love both Garasu no Umi & GOD FORSAKEN sooo much! another heavy band, their style is really awesome. my fav member is Mikaru (vocalist) & if anyone has any impression at all, i did mention hes on my current banner :P hes everything lovely so i cant really say anymore than this XD Denka (drummer) & Kei (guitarist) are lovely too! if i havent died for Mikaru long ago, i would have died for Denka. but i still like him alot! but actually, all Dio members are pretty. Ivy (bass)'s really attractive too! Erina (guitar) appeals to me least, but hes still pretty :P and the only chance of me not recognising them will be when Mikaru isnt in the pic XD
