Bwahaha i finally got my very own copy of Shock Edge'07! *BEAMS*
surprisingly, it comes with stickers! its just the logos of all the bands involved, but its good enough already *o*
and the CD booklet is love too! i like how theres a small pic of each band inside *o*

finally listened to Okui Masami's latest album Masami Life & i knew it! i just know its going to be as great as her previous ones m(_ _)m
Makkun's came a long long way in her career, & obviously i havent been following her since her debut. i only started following her every release since her GODSPEED album, which was like 2 albums ago XD
gah i'm seriously near worshipping her already! i dont know about her albums before GODSPEED, but evolution & Masami Life are totally awesome m(_ _)m
and because i just like her vocals sooo much, i actually prefer her cover versions of Megumi Hayashibara's good old songs :P and thats saying alot, since i like Megumi alot too! ^_^
heh just added like 20+ of Makkun's songs into my iPod XD re-listened to both GODSPEED & evolution today & after comparing them with Masami Life, i actually think GODSPEED is her best album XD but my ultimate fav Makkun song is still Shashuza no Tsuki no Koromoni ^_^

another recent J-pop album i listened to was Aya Kamiki's new album. i was pretty disappointed, since i liked her previous one X_X i liked her rockish songs alot & i think it suit her vocals really well. in her new album, shes obviously gone soft. in fact, this album is like all acoustic & acoustic only -_-" i'm never a huge fan of acoustic stuff, so its not surprising this album kinda bored me -_-" i know her recent singles were pretty soft acoustic stuff, but i wasnt quite expecting the ENTIRE album to be like that -_-" well its not like Aya cant sing such stuff nicely, since she has great vocals. so its really just me, not liking the style of this album :P

oh and another J-pop singer i've been listening to recently is Takasugi Satomi ^_^
if i'm not wrong, shes only released 2 singles so far. i've heard both singles & i like her style. theres just something really soothing about her voice & shes got really smooth vocals! *o* i watched both her PVs too, & shes pretty! *o* i think her image suits her songs alot, & thats of course great! ^_^ shes really refreshing to listen to actually ^_^ i doubt its because i'm hardly listening to J-pop anymore these days, but i think its more because her way of singing is really uncommon. shes either using her falsetto nearly all the time, or she just sounds like that XD and that is refreshing since its pretty common for J-pop ladies to screech their lungs out over the high pitches XD besides her heavenly vocals, i think her songs has pretty good music too ^_^
Tabibito & Hyakuren Uta just grew on me sooo much, i think i'm addicted already XD
oh and even more amazing is the label she belongs to. Rythmzone. O_O
thats an amazing thing, not just because Rythmzone is the label of people like Kuu XD but Rythmzone is under Avex & i can never quite associate Avex with Satomi :P i guess its just the same reason why i keep thinking Leah Dizon gotta be from Avex, under i saw the logo of her recording company from her album XD
