OMG it isnt even xmas yet & guess what?
I've listened to the whole of Ayu's album already! *beams*
for a start, let me say i'm impressed. seriously. m(_ _)m
if i have to compare this album to another Ayu album, i would say its closest to My Story. well thats because they're both very much rock-influenced :P
but the thing that makes this album VERY different from My Story is that its soft rock. less jamming this time, & thats good for Ayu because her vocals are pretty obviously drowned by all the rock music in My Story. shes not like Amano Tsukiko, so this kinda soft rock really suits her a whole lot more ^_^ with this album being so good, (miss)understood can still continue basking in the "glory" of being Ayu's worst album. or at least, thats IMO XD
i'm sooo glad Ayu isnt going down like i thought she would. afterall, Bold & Delicious really did leave a considerable amount of permanent damage on my love for Ayu -_-" even now, after awesome 2 awesome albums, i still cant return to my Ayumite days where i worship her like crazy :P but then again, i guess my love for VK plays a way bigger part here XD i've secretly gotten over the nastiness of Bold & Delicious & somehow learnt to enjoy that song reasonably XD
but i still have to say, Ayu lost around half her pitch XD its almost hard to imagine the Ayu screeching to I am... & the Ayu i'm now listening to, is the same person O_O"
my fav track is definitely Mirror. its as short as an interlude track, but the tune really impressed me m(_ _)m and ah MY ALL is love! i like how the guitar reminds me of Karimero's music, except its not as good XD the only song i have problems with will probably be glitter. the music is very much your typical Ayu happy song, & i'm fine with that, but the vocals are horrible. i dont think the way Ayu hit the pitches in this song is part of bringing out the happy sound -_-"theres abit too many interlude tracks in this album though, & i've never been one to enjoy interludes -_-" and thank god for untitled ~for her~! i dont really think an Ayu album can be complete without at least 1 such song XD
alright i guess thats enough talk about Ayu XD
surprisingly her single songs which i previously thought were sucky, turned out to sound pretty alright when i listen to the album as a whole XD
heh & speaking of xmas, theres 1 song i MUST listen to, when my clock strikes 12 on xmas eve ^_^
thats Vidoll's Hitorikiri no Kurixxsu ^_^
this song is sold at one of Vidoll's ancient xmas lives & its my 1st Vidoll song! ^_^ and the title (1 person's xmas as lousily translated by myself) suits this whole feel alot too! XD
