Heh was googling for more information on Cra, and guess what?
one of the search results tells about Cra being female & LICKER being an all female band O_O
and because i'm forever concerned about these things as a hardcore VK fangirl who worships VK BOYS, i obviously went to research XD
obviously their OHP is of no use (not even good for discography-research), but the one good thing there was the links to their personal blogs XD
and because the blogging site they used has profiles of the blog owners, i easily found out what i wanted to know ^_^
i thought the part about LICKER being an all female band is bullshit, because some members dont look like theres ever a possibility of them being female XD and i was right, because LICKER has 2 male members & 2 female members ^_^
both guitarists (Masa & Makoto) are male. the drummer is female, which wasnt so surprising to know because i saw the picture on her blog. so yes, yato (the drummer) is female. and like OMG Cra is female too! O_O now thats super traumatizing for me, not only because i previously thought she looked hot judging by VK boy standards, but because she doesnt sound female at all. like even for Waka & Jyou, i can at least tell they're females with deep voices at times. but i would never have suspected Cra to be female O_O its almost like if Cra is female, then people like Kazuma should be female too...thats the comparison i'll make, judging by their vocals.
and from their band pic on Visunavi, Cra & yato didnt look female. in fact, yato didnt look female in the only other LICKER band pic i found too! but in that same pic though, Cra looked female. but from the pics i've seen from yato's blog, she definitely looks more feminine than Cra :P
maybe its wrong of me to say this, but Cra would have been hot if shes a guy XD but to judge her by female VK standards, shes not hot. my idea of hot in female VK standards would be Omi (guitarist of exist+trace) ^_^ and another kind of hotness would be Kuroneko (vocalist of Onmyouza) ^_^ they're completely different kinds of hotness though, as can be obviously seen from the way they look XD
compare Omi (pic below) & Kuroneko (bottom-most pic) with Cra, and you'll see why i said what i said XD heh but Kuroneko's hot even judging by female Jpop stars standard ^_^
not saying i'll stop liking Cra just because shes female, but i admire female VK people instead of worship them (makes a diff you know) XD and even though Cra's vocals in SKY do sound somewhat female, i've never quite suspected because she sounded too manly in the rest of the LICKER songs i've heard :P i do love her vocals, but i'll still prefer male vocals over female ones where VK is concerned, unless those female ones sound just like male ones like Cra's ^_^
