OMGWTF.
just visited the blog by fangirls to worship Lucify.
and no, for those who have no idea, please dont ask me whos Lucify. they're nobody.

as expected from the 1st paragraph, i'm gonna do major bitching about some things again.

i've never really disliked Lucify before i visited this blog, but now i swear i do.
they actually performed GazettE's FITB & alice nine's Yami ni Chiru Sakura at some musuem live event. i'm horrified & disgusted alright. because i'm a hardcore VK fangirl, i cant stand it when such things happen. i can understand they're fans too, and like people who like singing their idol's songs in KTV, these guys wanna perform their fav bands' songs.
but i so happen to have this MAJOR problem with Shinya, aka the vocalist. i'm just NOT satisfied with this man's singing alright. of course hes not the worst male singer i've ever heard (considering i've gone to KTV with quite alot of people before), but hes not good enough for his band. i cant comment much about the rest of the band members because i'm forever too busy scowling at Shinya's singing to have time to take note of them. but at any rate, i dont believe they'll be dumb enough to go perform a song they cant play, so theres not much to say.
i know i hardly watched Superband when its airing on TV (because i think its stupid), but i just watched that final TV perf of Lucify from that youtube link in that blog. Shinya doesnt sound too bad rapping, but the singing part is just like what i've always thought of him. and it doesnt help when Misaki sounds better than him when doing backup vocals. it means alot, when the vocalist fails to be the one who can sing best in a band. and his shouts to the crowd at the start of the song. i get what hes trying to do because i've watched more than enough Jrock concerts, but hes apparently failing. his shouts only managed to make my hair stand on end -_- and even if i can give Shinya some credit for sounding good sometimes, hes not a charismatic performer. and again, thats a problem. its always a problem if vocalists lack charisma, since they're supposedly the frontman of the band. i'm listening to Shinya's singing alright, but i'm not interested to see him sing. thats what i mean by lacking charisma. and it doesnt help when he has some very charismatic band members behind him, like Misaki for instance.
and yes, i'll admit i think Misaki's not bad. but thats only because he looks the best out of all Lucify members :P

oh and ONE MAN live concert? i can hardly believe i'm seeing these words on that blog.
i dont care if the duration is really long enough to be considered a concert, but whats the point of banging on the words "ONE MAN" when all they did was cover songs by other bands/singers? unless they performed their OWN songs, the duration doesnt matter, be it ONE MAN or TWO MAN doesnt matter either. i cant say the term is being misused entirely, but i dont see the big fuss. be it covers done by pros or non-pros, i always regard covers as karaoke sessions. the only exception to this view of mine, is when the covers actually sound better than the originals. but that, isnt something Lucify can achieve, especially if they're performing Jrock songs.

and people who like GazettE & alice nine because of Lucify should just die.
thats like the biggest insult to GazettE & alice nine ever.

this is crazy alright.

and speaking of crazy, i pre-ordered SuG's new album today. as always, i pre-ordered the CD+DVD ver. but the price is crazy. its like the most expensive CD+DVD album i've ever bought online, and its like just a few hundred yen away from the price of a concert DVD X_X i understand that stuff by bands from big labels arent as cheap as stuff by indie bands from unknown labels, but whats up with SuG's album costing more than GazettE/Kagrra,/Kra/alice nine's albums ever did? and thats considering they're all under PSC! -_-" SuG's previous release was a mini-album, and now they're releasing a full length album in May. if not for them, i would have pre-ordered SMILE's anniversary best album which will be out in May X_X but i did choose SuG over SMILE, so i cant say much :P

i'll try to order just 1 album/DVD per month, because i'm expecting to recover that hole in my bank in the months to come, and i cant let history repeat.
