Just had my 1st IS class for this sem.frankly speaking, its very easy, yet very tiring X_X
well considering my IS module is Basic Conversational Japanese, of course its not a problem for me.
whats truly tiring, is trying to act like i know absolutely nothing about jap -_-"
like i obviously know hiragana & katakana at the back of my head, but i have to pretend i dont & keep referring to the charts in the textbook when i write -_- and i very nearly told my teacher i didnt need those charts, when she lent me hers (since i bought the wrong damn book) -_-"
other than that, i hate the way shes making us say stuff like "watashi wa ______ desu." -_-
like does anyone in Japan still say that anymore when introducing their own names? and when you have to state 2 pieces of info about yourself using this lame format, its both very tiring to speak & hear -_-"
and i'm truly itching to finish all the hiragana excercises in my book...but if i do, she'll think i borrowed the book from someone who has completed this module & i'll be asked to buy a new one -_-"
apparently there'll be a hiragana quiz next week, and i can foresee myself breezing through that (just as i had hoped to when i chose this module) :P
oh & having to repeat the same old very basic words endlessly truly sucks -_-" its boring the crap out of me in a way -_-"
thanks to all these factors, i actually think my intermediate 3 classes at JAS are easier.
no doubt the content are way more difficult, but at least i dont have to pretend so much (like having to write romaji above all the hiragana words because i SUPPOSEDLY cant read hiragana) -_-
not trying to be biased but Hori sensei(JAS) > Chishiho sensei(NP IS) :P
oh & because i'm desperate to improve my jap, i shall talk to myself in jap at home XD
i'm pretty alright with the writing part as always, but my speaking sucks. not that i cant understand what i'm hearing, but i just cant translate what i wanna say into jap quickly enough X_X so most of the time i end up giving Hori sensei 1 word answers X_X
